Whether you are here to get started, learn to perform a advanced feature task, or get help because something went wrong, you are very welcome! We are using the GIN-Tonic applications for our data portal, a pioneering approach to facilitate data and project management in research labs, and we are eager to hear from your experience with the tool.

You may, at any time, contact the data curator on the SFB slack or email to get specific help. You may also raise an issue here, we will forward it to the g-node team if we cannot solve it.

This wiki presents only the tools relevant for our use of the platform. You can get more information on different aspect of GIN on the original GIN help page, but best contact the data manager. Indeed, we want to follow some guidelines (for example in repository creation) in order to avoid chaos on the long term. More in depth information about the tonic tools and the templates used are linked in the readme of your research repository and here.
